Definitely NOT your typical music store!

Over 40,000 titles in stock.
Gifts. Supplies. Rentals. Lessons. Instruments.
Personable staff that knows what they're doing.
Owned by a professional, performing musician.

We began in 1989 as a mail-order double reed business.
In 1995 we opened a retail store in Riverside, Connecticut,
and expanded our selections to include music and supplies for all instruments.

We ran out of room fairly quickly, and were able to double the size of the store.
In 2002, we outgrew our space and moved a half-mile down the street to a building in a better location with more parking and an elevator, which makes the UPS guy very happy.
T.D. ELLIS MUSIC PUBLISHING was started to publish the works of Anthony Newman.
In addition, arrangements by Mr. Ellis and works by other local composers are published.

DIRECTIONS

Stop by and visit when you're in the New York City area.
We're a short walk from the Old Greenwich Metro-North station.
We are located in Old Greenwich, on East Putnam Avenue, also known as US-1 and the Post Road.
From I-95 north or south, take exit 5. Turn right onto US-1. Go through one traffic light.
We are on the LEFT, just past Walgreens, on the 2nd floor above Boston Market.
There is parking in the front and back of the building.

SHIPPING

Not just your Old Greenwich Music Source, we ship worldwide.
There's no sales tax for orders shipped outside Connecticut.
In the US, we usually ship via Priority Mail, but other options are available.
Foreign orders are usually shipped by air.

PRICES

In general, we charge publisher list price for printed music, and discount most of our supplies.
If you order something, and we have an older copy that is less expensive,
we will give you the lower price.
From time to time there is an unavoidable price increase,
and we will always let you know before shipping.
We do not mark up items and then offer "artificial" discounts.
One of our local competitors routinely adds 20% or 30% to their printed music,
and then calls themselves a discount store.  We'll never understand that.
